International Summer Basketball Camps in Germany
For the past decade, the 43CAMPs have attracted over 2000 campers from all over Germany around the world. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball at one of the most highly rated camps in the country. Last summer over 250 players learned skills through individual and group instruction from a staff of over 30 top basketball coaches under the supervision of Jens Grube. Each station coach takes care of only 7-8 campers.
The 2014 Summer Basketball Camps Presented by FOR THREE 43 Basketball will provide boys and girls ages 8-18 with a structured basketball learning experience that encourages team participation and personal development. The camp focuses on improving campers skills while emphasizing offense, defense, shooting and game fundamentals. Upcoming summer camp locations will include Dachau and Vilsbiburg, both cities located in the metropolitan area of Munich, Germany. Accomodation is given in the sports hall; Air mattress and sleeping bag are not included. Meals are taken in the club restaurant.
Who can participate? All young people – including ages from 1997 to 2002 – who love basketball and want to improve. The camp is open not only for basketball players of the district of Upper Bavaria, but all basketball players. Training takes place in small groups, divided by age and skill. Although both boys and girls attend camp in the same sessions, the skill groups and teams are not co-ed. Campers will be grouped by age and/or ability level to ensure their maximum development.
